Erythromycin works by inhibiting the protein synthesis of acne-causing bacteria (*Cutibacterium acnes*), thereby reducing their ability to grow and multiply. Zinc acetate enhances the penetration of erythromycin into the skin and contributes anti-inflammatory properties, helping to calm the skin and reduce redness.

Important Note
