Description

Timodine Cream is a combination topical treatment designed to manage skin inflammation and fungal infection simultaneously. It is especially effective in treating intertriginous areas (such as under the breasts or in skin folds), as well as stubborn or infected nappy rash. It is suitable for use in adults and infants under medical supervision.

How It Works
Timodine combines hydrocortisone (a mild corticosteroid), nystatin (an antifungal), benzalkonium chloride (an antiseptic), and dimeticone (a skin protectant). Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation and redness, while nystatin eradicates fungal infections such as Candida. Benzalkonium chloride provides antibacterial action, and dimeticone acts as a water-repellent barrier to protect the skin from further irritation.

Why Choose Timodine
Timodine offers a multipurpose solution for inflammatory skin conditions complicated by fungal infection. It’s ideal for areas prone to moisture, friction, or yeast colonisation. The inclusion of a barrier agent helps improve healing and prevent recurrence. The cream spreads easily and is suitable for use in sensitive areas when prescribed.

Important Note
Timodine should only be used for short periods unless directed otherwise. Overuse of steroid components, particularly in children, may lead to skin thinning or hormonal effects. It should not be applied to broken or extensively damaged skin. Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor.
